We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop - Masterful Masking
08/01/2024
Welcome to the We Bee Stamping TEAM Blog Hop.
This month's theme is Masterful Masking. You will find the tools you need for masking in the Annual Catalog on page 124 and 125. From Masking paper to Blending Brushes, there are also some great examples. But, that it was we are here to do as well, show some great Masking! So let's get started.
I am featuring our Masking Paper, Blending Brushes and the Lifetime of Love cling stamp set creating a Retiform or color blocking design.
Our masking paper comes in a 12 pack of 5" x 7" sheets. I like to use long strips so I cut two 2" x 7" strips leaving me with a 1" x 7" strip.
Angle the making papers across a piece of Basic White card stock and use your Blending Brush to add color. It is more important to add more ink along the masing papers edge. Change the direction of your masking papers to create different quadrants.
Then use the Masking Papers to mark off each quadrant to stamp the images.
This is such a fun way to stamp and the possibilities are endless. Trying using different color inks too!

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Watercolor Techniques
07/01/2024
Welcome to We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop. July's theme is all about Watercolor Techniques.
I am so excited for this blog hop and to share some of our Watercolor Techniques. Sometimes I forget to use these methods and products so it kind of rejuvenates me to make more cards with them! So I got working and I have three cards to share with you.
1.) Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens
I stamped the floral images in Black Stazon ink, added color with colored pencils and then use my Blender Pens to spread out the color
2.) Water Painters and Watercolor Paper
Using my Watercolor Paper and Water Painters, I spread ink covering the entire piece of paper. I helped dry with my heat tool then stamped on the flowers and words with Stazon ink and Lemon Lime Twist ink for the petals.
3.) Embossed image colored with Soft Pastels and Water Painters
I heat embossed the flowers and words with Copper embossing powder. Using my Water Painter, I swiped on the pastels to pick up color then painted the flowers.
The 2024-2025 Annual catalog is where you can find all the resources for all watercolor supplies . Click the below image to download the catalog and refer to pages 118 and 119.

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Fun Fold Cards
06/01/2024
Hello, and thank you for stopping by our monthly blog hop. This month's theme is a fun fold card, which are always exciting.
I am featuring the suite collection called Take To The Sky. This is a great suite for masculine cards.
I used Misty Moonlight as my card base and two different patterns from the Take To The Sky Design Series Paper.
- Misty Moonlight card stock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 to form card base
- Another piece of Misty Moonlight CS cut to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
- Two different DSP patterns cut 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
- Using the Scattered Rectangle Dies, lay the Misty Moonlight 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 on top of card front and die cut. Die cut both pieces at same time so they align
- Die cut both DSP pieces with the same rectangle die (save the one cut out to mount inside your card
- Card base: the front panel that has the rectangle die cut, score that in half at 2-1/8 then fold back creating a flap.
- Adhere the Misty Moonlight frame but only to the half folded back flap
When adhering the inside DSP frame, cut in half at 2-1/8" so that the card still folds easily.
I die cut two sets of clouds and used Small Blending Brushes to add some Misty Moonlight ink. Add clouds to the inside and outside of the card.
- Stamp words on a 1/2 piece of basic white, and give the strip a curl in both directs to add a wave
- Inside Basic White CS is 2-1/4 x 3-1/2
- I aligned the airplane to cover majority of the inside stamps words.

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Springing Forward
03/01/2024
Welcome to our Team Blog Hop!
This month we are springing forward. For most of us, we are in a region of what is suppose to be cold and snow. This year (oh don't let me jinx it) has been a mild season to say the least. And I don't know about you, but it just makes me more anxious and excited for spring to come.
One of spring's beautiful blooms is Lavender. I had a lavender bush at my house for over 20 years and loved the smell in the springtime. So that is what I am featuring today; product from The Perennial Lavender product suite (I used the Painted Lavender Bundle, Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper and Purple Fine Shimmer Gems).
It is a Double Opening Card: there is a front flap with a sentiment underneath along with the sentiment on the inside of the card.
- This is made with a standard card base in Lost Lagoon
- The flap piece measures 2-3/4 x 4-1/4" and scored at 1/2"
- The white mat layer on the flap measures 2-5/8 x 3-5/8" (you will need two pieces)
- Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon CS that is 2-3/4 x 3-3/4"
- Large white mat on card front is 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"
- Large white mat on inside of card is 4 x 5-1/4"
- DSP on card front is 4 x 5-1/4"
I used Lost Lagoon ink along, with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.
Have fun in making different bouquets of lavender as there are several different dies in this set.
Now let's check out what my team members have to share with us. First up is Karen Burke, but don't forget you can go back to Linda Bauwin!

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Love Is In The Air
02/01/2024
Welcome to our We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Love Is In The Air!
I am excited to show you 2 projects today, using the Sending Love Stamps and Dies. Yes, it is a bundled product, but I wanted to show a card using the stamps only, and then for the more avid stamper; a card using 9 of the 15 dies from the bundle!
Here is my stamps only card:
I used Poppy Parade card stock, ink and blends. All images were colored with Stampin' Blends.
A little special feature on this card is the Pink (Bubble Bath) envelope coming out of the mailbox. I used my Paper Snips scissors, cut a slot, and slid part of the little envelope in, so it looks like it is coming out of the mailbox.
Here is my stepped-up card:
Note, when you purchase the Sending Love Bundle, you are earn a Free Sale-a-Bration Item. Here, I used "Most Adorned 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper" as my free item and the background.
I used Real Red card stock, ink and Stampin' Write marker. The marker was used to draw stitching on the envelope, as I felt it needed to stand out a little from the white mailbox.
TIP: Use the 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 Basic White CS mat to die cut your mailbox, envelope and circle. Paper saving!
Remember, it is Sale-a-Bration time to earn Free product. See the SAB Catalog Here
