I recently participated in a card challenge, and these are some of the great projects fellow demonstrators submitted.   These first three samples were submitted by Pat Bowman, Marsha Pappalardo and Judy Getty:

Ornate Style Embossed Watercolor

Hello friends.  I am super excited to share these with you today.  Each card features the floral image from Ornate Style stamp set along with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Shimmer White card stock.  If you have not noticed, I am on a bit of a watercolor kick lately.

Make sure to watch my YouTube Video where I water colored with Stampin' UP! Colored Pencils.

So my projects I am sharing today were done with Aqua Painters.  I picked up color from the lid of my ink pad.  With the ink pad closed, press the center of the lid... give it a little squeeze and when you open your ink pad, there will be ink on the inside lid.

I wanted to show 3 Different Effects when you use different embossing powders.  Even though Stampin' Up! is retiring black, I went ahead and did anyways.  As an alternative, you can use Stazon Ink!  It is permanent and great for water-coloring.

You watch how I colored these cards on the Reply of my Facebook Live by clicking HERE

Timeless Tulips Bundle & Giving It Dimension

PicsArt_02-23-10.09.36

Holy cow!!!  I have been doing it wrong.... Ha! Ha!

Well, okay, maybe not totally wrong.  But I think this make more sense.  Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to get notification of my SAVI Sunday videos.

SAVI = Stamping & various inspiration.  I share some of my secrets, tips and tricks.  Also, I share what I may have discovered while using my Stampin' Up! products.  And here is case in point...

The Tulip Builder Punch punches out the tulip stamp and then a "leaf".  Which is totally fine.  You can use this way.  But I discovered that the shape of the stamp and punch are a match to the one side of the tulip.  Add the punched piece with a couple of Mini Dimensionals and you just gave your tulip some pop!  Literally!

I show you exactly what I mean in my SAVI Sunday Video.

CARD BASE:  4-1/4 x 11" scored and folded at 5-1/2"

Whisper White:  4-1/8" x 5-3/8"  and laid the Decorative mask over and sponged with Granny Apply Green

Check out my Alternative Card

Did you see my project from last week?  It was titled Come To Gather and Give Thanks... if not SEE IT HERE .  It features the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper, perfect for fall.  It was my submission for a Holiday Catalog Card Challenge!

So you may be asking, why did I do an alternate project?  Well, I wanted my class members to make the card but I did not have enough of the Wood elements (Tags & Feathers) used on the original card so I swapped over to the Harvest Hello Bundle instead.  Isn't that pumpkin cool?  I punched the pumpkin out of the New Mercury Glass Acetate.  This stuff is so cool and it comes in two designs in the pack.  Below is more of a crackle.

PicsArt_09-26-03.08.00

Here is a close up on the Mercury Glass Acetate...   We punched a pumpkin from our mat card stock Pear Pizzazz and adhered it behind the acetate.

PicsArt_09-26-03.09.47

I hope you have a chance to get some of this Acetate and use it on one of your projects.

TIP:  you can color the back of the acetate with your Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  Just pick a color that coordinates with your project.
