All Dressed Up Bunnies

Well, it is hard to believe that Easter is not far away.  It will definitely be different this year as we deal with COVID-19.  Many of us with not be celebrating with our families.  I know for myself, I will Face-time with my brother, sister-in-law and my nieces and nephew.  I Face-timed yesterday and my one niece, she is 3-1/2, said "Auntie, when are you coming over?"  Oh my, just broke my heart as she does not understand about a pandemic and what we are going through.

I decided I will send them some treats in the mail, and of course, I will need some cute packaging...

Are these adorable or what?  They are made with the purse die from "All Dressed Up" in the 2020 Mini Catalog.

I used Balmy Blue/Night of Navy, Whisper White/Melon Mambo, and Petal Pink/Melon Mambo.  To make one, you will need two pieces of card stock that is 5 x 5-1/2" for the bag and then scraps to die cut and punch out other pieces.

I also used the 1" Circle Punch, Stitched Be Mine Dies, and Stitched Shapes Dies.

Here is my SAVI Sunday YouTube video showing you how I made:

Tulips mean Spring is coming

I have a 'thing' for tulips... I have been blessed to travel to Amsterdam several times for my full time job.  Each time I go, I bring back a little souvenir to remind me of that trip.  Did you know, they have tulip bulbs that are safe to bring back to the states.  Holland is know for their tulips, so what better place to buy them from  Each spring now, I anxiously anticipate their bloom.  I bought several mixed colors so every year it is a surprise to see what is going to come out of the ground.

So when I saw the Timeless Tulips Bundle (#153793) in the 2020 Mini Catalog, I knew I wanted to get it.  When my tulips do bloom, I will have to take some pictures and share with you and maybe even create some more projects where I try and mimic my tulip colors.  I think that would be fun.

I posted a SAVI Sunday video on a tip with the Tulip Punch.  I hope you take a minute and watch and be sure to subscribe to my Channel.

Thanks!  And Happy Spring!

Mountain Air Landscape

Look how beautiful those mountains stamped.  The New Mountain Air Bundle in the 2020 Mini catalog is a unique stamp set.  You can really create some beautiful landscape cards with this one!  In my sample, I only used one tree die, but there are several others for the mountains and the long tree line, and more.

The most unique quality is that they are REVERSIBLE stamps.  Now, being reversible does not mean that it will give you an exact filler.  So just think outside the box a little bit.  If you click on the picture it should open up in a new window and larger.  Zoom in on the clouds and you will see what I am talking about not being exact.  But guess what?  I think it looks great!

I posted a YouTube video of how I made this card.  You can watch below but be sure to Subscribe to my Channel so you're not missing anything!

Early Espresso card base is 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4

Layer of Seaside Spray cut 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"

Very Vanilla top layer is 4 x 5-1/4"

SAVI SUNDAYS = Stamping and Various Inspirations.   Here's my first one!

This is my new Sunday series of YouTube videos.  Each Sunday I will be posting a short video to share tips, tricks, and inspirations that I may discover or find.  It could be a different way to use a product, a tool tip, care and instructions, etc.  So be sure to Subscribe to my Youtube Channel (Lisa Brown Stamp with Lisa Brown).

Oh!  Just in case you are wondering.... there is another demonstrator with My Name so that is why I made that my channel name.  I really need to rename my 'stampwithlisabrown' website too but, ugh!

Anyway, on with my tip.

1st SAVI tip....  How to use the scalloped boarder die all the way across your project

The scalloped board die from the Painted Poppies bundle is only 2-1/2" long.  But if you cut out multiple pieces, when you overlap the ends, it will continue the design pattern!  Watch my video to see this in action.

Card Measurements:

  1. Basic Black card base:   8-1/2 x 5-1/2"
  2. Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper:   4 x 5-1/4"
  3. Basic Black rectangle mat:  2 x 3-5/16"
  4. Rectangle DSP is die cut from #2 above using a Stitched Rectangle Die (cut piece is 1-13/15 x 3-3/15")

I used Poppy Parade for the single flower.  The center rectangle is popped up with Stampin' Dimensional.  And our "Happy Birthday" is from the 'Timeless Tulip" bundle.
