I am super excited to share a Blog Highlight that I am participating in. The blog highlight is being hosted by Kylie Bertucci from Australia. I had the pleasure of participating in a training session she held and then meeting her on the Greece incentive trip this past summer. Her and her husband Bruno are so awesome!
This above photo was taken on the cruise ship, day 1, so everyone was pumped up and super excited.
Kylie hosts an International Blog Highlights and I decided to participate this month. It's International because Demonstrators from all over the world join and are highlighted on her page. So my upline, Linda Bauwin, did a team challenge. She sent us pieces of this-n-that from the new holiday catalog; paper, ribbon, embellishments... and we could use whatever we wanted to make a card. Here is my project:
I had to show you the close-up first as the full frontal photo does not catch that shimmer from my Wink of Stella pen! Its one of the best tools to use to add that little something. Here's the full card.
I am so pleased with the 2019 Holiday catalog. So many great products and coordinating items. I chose to use some new and returning items...
So you may think that my title does not have correct grammar, but that is the name of New Designer Series Papers called "Come To Gather". Check it out on Page 49 of the Holiday Catalog or click Come To Gather to see the entire product suite. Great fall items. I love all the traditional color tones popular during the fall season.
I chose to stamp "Give Thanks" from Harvest Hellos stamp set in black Stazon ink on wood element. Stazon is the perfect choice as it is permanent and the color will not bleed. The wood element looks like a real piece of a limb doesn't it? Very cool. The pack comes with other shapes like feathers.
Again, I used Wink or Stella to add shimmer to some of the pumpkins to the Come To Gather designer series paper.

Can I say how glad I am that it is Friday?!? Why has this been the looooonngest week! I have a few things on my end going or that happened so maybe that is way. Anyway, the weather is so beautiful so I am hoping to work in the yard and catch up on a few others as well. What do you have planned for your weekend?
The Good Morning Magnolia Bundle continues to be wildly popular. There are so many things you can create especially when the bundle has 16 dies in it and so many great coordinating items. I think my card today is pretty straight forward but let me give you a few details so you can re-create it!
-Card base in Early Espresso is standard 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4.
-Whisper White card stock layer is 5-1/4 x 4". Stamp and die cut the "Hello" from the center of this layer piece. I used the Stitched Layered dies.
-Pink stripped paper is from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and is 3-3/4 x 2-1/2"
-Crumb Cake card stock piece is also 3-3/4 x 2-1/2" and was embossed with the New 3D Scripty Embossing Folder and New 3D Embossing Folder Plate. If you do not know what the 3D Embossing Folder Plate is, be sure to watch my YouTube video explaining it and how to use. While you are there, make sure to subscribe to my Channel so you do not miss upcoming videos.
-I stamped the large magnolia flower on scrap Whisper White Card stock and used my Stampin' Blends for color; just outlining the leaves in Light Mossy Meadow and lightly coloring the magnolia with Petal Pink. I used the coordinating dark Blends for the stem and middle of flower.
-Top is all off with some Clear Wink of Stella over the flower to add beautiful shimmer.

Can you believe we are already talking about the Holiday Catalog!!!
During my SU! Incentive trip the first two weeks of July, Stampin' Up! gave us an advance copy of the catalog, see below...
It got kind of wrinkled during my travels.
The catalog is spectacular with 25 New Product Bundles, double punch set, gift wrap paper, Shimmer Crystal Affects, snow making puff paint, new ink pads, and reversible stamps!!!
