Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to our We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop.  I think we are all equally excited for this month blog hop, not only because its a new year, but we are celebrating all new things from Stampin' Up!  Yep, the new Mini Catalog goes live on January 7th plus it is Sale-a-Bration time!  Let's get seeing what everyone is sharing...

First off, Happy New Year to all of you on the first day of a brand new year.  Maybe 2025 be filled with lots of joy and laughter.  Not only is it a new year, it is also my aunt's birthday!  Yep, she's a new year baby and turned 91 years old today.

My card is in celebrating of her birthday using the upcoming New Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection.  I'm a sucker for sets with alphabet and number dies so I had to have it.  And I am not disappointed with this one.  The Wildflower Birthday 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Paper is awesome!

I wanted to be sure you can see that Specialty DSP paper with Gold Foil!  The paper is really lovely so let's take a look at another photo.

    • two of the sheets have labels/images/tags
    • two sheets are Full of Die Cuts Image (that is where the balloons in my card are from)

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Christmas Time

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to this month's Team Blog Hop - Christmas Time.

I chose to share a more rustic themed card featuring the Sophisticated Sled Bundle, one of my favorites from the September - December 2024 mini catalog.  Sometimes I tend to do not-so-traditional Christmas card fronts, but always put a nice holiday sentiment on the inside.

I have done several projects using this bundle, and guess what, they did not even feature the sled; so here is yet another one.  The ice skate dies in this bundle are just so fabulous that I keep going back to them.

#sophisticatedsled #stampwithlisabrown #skate

#sophisticatedsled #stampwithlisabrown #skate2

I embossed a piece of Early Espresso card stock with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing.  Then I lightly tapped the high embossed ridges with a VersaMark ink pad, sprinkled with Gold Embossing powder and heat set.  I really love how the background turned out.  The skates are die cut from Very Vanilla and Gold Foil papers.  The words at the bottom are Gold Heat embossed on Very Vanilla, which is 3/4" x 2-1/4".  And finally the wreath is die cut from Very Vanilla card stock as well.

So the skates do not look like they are just floating, I used some Linen Thread to make it look like they are hanging.

I accented with a Gold 1/8" Trim bow and added a few Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Giving Thanks

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to this month's Team blog hop.

I am featuring the Nest of Winter Suite Collection, which has some great dies.  And the gems are so shimmery.  A fan favorite!

My card is a Tri-Fold opening featuring the  Nests of Winter 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper from the suite.

#nestsofwinter #stampwithlisabrown

Here is the inside...

#nestsofwintersuite #stampwithlisabrown

  • I cut a piece of DSP to 5-1/4 x 12 and scored it at 4" and 8".  Watch the direction of the patterns.
  • Adhere above to a pieces of Early Espresso that is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  The center section of the DSP is adhered to the Early Espresso CS.
  • Each inside panel has a piece of 3-3/4 x 5 Basic White card stock adhered to them.
  • The left panel is the pine die cut.  Cut Early Espresso CS to 3-1/2 x 4-3/4.  Stamp and color bird before adhering the pine frame.
  • The right panel label is white cs measuring 1-1/4 x 2-3/4 and matted with Pretty Peacock CS
  • The card front label is 1 x 1-3/4 matted with Early Espresso CS

I am happy with how this card turned out, but I did forget to use the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder.  I guess there is another project on the horizon to include that.
