Today I want to point out what I consider one of the most underrated Stampin' Up! items you need... the Piercing Mat.  Do you want to know why?  Well, let me just show you. 

I don't think I have to ask "do you see it"?  But just incase, do you see the leaf petal with the white splotch on it?  Well, that is where I did not get a good ink impression while stamping.  And had I put my card stock on top of my Piercing Mat, that most likely would not have happened.  For a $5.00 investment, for an item that you can use for years, I think it is well worth the cost.  For me its worth to reduce my frustration, LOL!

For this card, I used the Changing Leaves Bundle (which is awesome as it comes with stamps, dies and a hybrid 3D embossing folder), Thoughtful Journey 6x6" DSP, and the 2024-2026 Shimmer Paper.  All items are linked below.  

Notice all the "dots" on my card?  These are not gemstone embellishments, they are dots of Metallic Enamel Effects in gold.  The metallic pack is a pack of three colors, gold, copper and silver.   We have a Pearlized pack too, and that pack of three are real red, white and black.  You should really check these out.

Today I am sharing a card made with a stamp and die bundle called "Sophisticated Sled".   This bundle is an Online Exclusive meaning it will not show in any catalog publication. 

I like it as it offers some variety, especially how you can create the sled.  For this card, I simply stamped the sled and used the framelit die to cut out.  I will be sharing another project showing how to creating the sled with die cuts so stay tuned for that.  

So same, you can simply stamp the ice skates, color and die cut with framelit die but in my project, I die cut the boots, laces and blades and glued them together!  So cool.  Let's take a look. 

My colors are Gray Granite and Petal Pink.  I chose those because they coordinate with Designer Series Paper called Country Woods.   This is a great 12 x 12 paper pack you should check especially, until August 31, 2024... It's On Sale!  All our DSP in the Annual Catalog is 15%.  

There are two layers of greenery done in Old Olive and Granny Apple Green.  

I added a Linen Thread Bow that has 4 loops for some bulk.

My favorite more subtle detail.... The clear embellishments!  These are a must see in-person or go to my shop:  Pecan Pie & Clear Adhesive-Backed Dots.  Here's a close up:

Hello there... I have another share using the Online Exclusive Product Suite called "Flowering Zinnias".  Love, love, love this suite collection.  

Now, I was not going to post this one because I actually made it 2 months ago!  And since then, the New 2024-2025 Catalog went live which means we had to say good bye to some products.  Can you guess what item I used that is no longer available?  Keep reading to find out and what I recommend to use in its place. 

I have used all items from this suite collection:  stamps, dies, designer series paper, embossing folder and sequins.  But my favorite part it the added bonus of coordination Berry Burst Glimmer Specialty paper (comes in a pack with two other colors).  I used the glimmer paper to mat the piece of DSP, adding an extra little sparkle.  

*The zinnia flower is a piece of designer paper!  Yep... there are beautiful patterns and florals on the DSP that you can fussy cute fairly easily to use as your focal point. 

Let's not forget the inside....

Use the edges of your designer series paper to add some life to the inside of your card!  Just because its not a whole image, in this case a zinnia flower, USE THOSE EDGES!

So, are you still asking what is the retired product on this card?  If you said the Handmade Tag punch, you are correct!  

My suggestion:  replace the tag punch with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch.  I added that to my supply list below!

A Little Latte Suite Collection

Here is another project made for all you coffee and latte lovers!  

The top and bottom coffee cups are stamped onto Basic White card stock.  The Calypso Coral cut is Die Cut from the Latte Love Designer series paper (DSP)!

Don't throw out those scraps or edge pieces to your DSP!!!  I cut out an edge piece that is a partial coffee cup and used on the inside of my card.
