We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Everything Coming Up Green

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome to this month's Team Blog Hop!  I just wrote in my last blog post, how we are coming into that time of year when we will start seeing the signs of spring.  So here is some additional inspiration with our theme, 'Everything Coming Up Green'.

I decided to create 2 projects seeing as it is March, I did a monochromatic St. Patty's Day card, and a second card, showing off four other different ink colors. I hope you like.

Card 1:  for St. Patty's Day

#clovercard #stampwithlisabrown #creativecardcloset

Parakeet Party is the star here!  I love this color from the 2022-2024 In-Color collection.  I used:

  • 2022-2024 In-Color 6x6" Designer Series Paper
  • Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon
  • Heart Punch Pack
  • 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots
  • I found the sentiment from Hello Ladybug stamp set.

Card 2:  Forever Fern

#foreverfern #stampwithlisabrown #creativecardcloset

Here's a color I seem to rarely use... Shaded Spruce; which is the card base color and the rounder berry sprig.  I also used Garden Green, Mint Macaron and Old Olive.

I hope you are as excited as I am to see what Karen Burke has created so be sure to Buzzzz on over:

I can't tell you how excited I am that the Forever Fern stamp set will be carried over into the 2021-2022 Annual catalog (coming May 4, 2021).  This truly has been a must have an most used stamp set for me.  I just reverting back to it so I am sure this won't be the last project you'll see from using using something for the set.

So, two of my favorite things combined into one project... purple (Gorgeous Grape) and Forever Fern stamp set!

Welcome to our March Blog Hop - Marching Into Spring

It's coming... it's finally coming!  Have you ever been so excited to see spring coming more than this year?  I, for one, feel like winter has lasted forever and that we have been locked inside since I don't know when.  I am sure its likely because, this month, we will be in what I call Covid mode, for a year.  Spring to me is new life, renewal, fresh air, bright colors, flowers and more.  Bring it on!

For my Marching Into Spring project, I chose to combine a few of my favorite products.  The NEW (starts March 2, 2021) Butterfly Bouquet, the Forever Fern Bundle, and semi-new Many Messages Bundle.

Let's take a look:

Forever Fern in Purple Posy

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping by.

So the other day, I had posted another project card that featured the Forever Fern Bundle in beautiful fall colors.  I know the Forever Greenery product suite is Awesome but I wanted to give you some other options.  Options that are outside of the "green scheme" of the product suite.  So, if you missed my fall inspired card, be sure to see that Here.

I then wanted to share another option for you.  This one has a card base in Purple Posy... and I AM a purple girl so I just love this combination and hope you do too.   Let's take a look at the card first:

PicsArt_11-06-12.21.12

  • Stamp images in Purple Posy and Crumb Cake inks on Very Vanilla piece
  • After stamping, run the Very Vanilla CS through the Subtle Embossing folder
  • Die cut Gold Foil branch and adhere to Very Vanilla piece
  • Wrap Linen Thread around card at least 4 times and tie off with a bow
  • Adhere completed Very Vanilla piece to card base

SAVI Sunday - Episode 35 Using DSP Scraps

Hey everyone!  Hope you are well.  I got to spend some time with my nieces and nephew today, which was great.  It was a couple of weeks since I had seen them and the two little ones were so excited to see Auntie.  We played on the swing set, and made fake Smores (bark for graham crackers, rocks for marshmallows, and fallen acorns for the chocolate).  They picked sticks and we took colorful fall leaves rolled up, then poked through our sticks to make our fake fire...LOL!  It was great to see them use such imagination.  I loved every minute of it.

Any ways, so I am posting a little late Sunday night for my Savi Sunday but I'm here.  Tonight I am showing two projects using Designer Series Paper that is included in the DSP Sale (ending October 31, 2020).
