We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Giving Thanks

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to this month's Team blog hop.

I am featuring the Nest of Winter Suite Collection, which has some great dies.  And the gems are so shimmery.  A fan favorite!

My card is a Tri-Fold opening featuring the  Nests of Winter 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper from the suite.

Here is the inside...

  • Adhere above to a pieces of Early Espresso that is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  The center section of the DSP is adhered to the Early Espresso CS.
  • Each inside panel has a piece of 3-3/4 x 5 Basic White card stock adhered to them.
  • The left panel is the pine die cut.  Cut Early Espresso CS to 3-1/2 x 4-3/4.  Stamp and color bird before adhering the pine frame.
  • The right panel label is white cs measuring 1-1/4 x 2-3/4 and matted with Pretty Peacock CS
  • The card front label is 1 x 1-3/4 matted with Early Espresso CS

I am happy with how this card turned out, but I did forget to use the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder.  I guess there is another project on the horizon to include that.

Now let's buzzzz on over to see what Karen Burke has to share

Potions & Spells Bundle

Have you seen the New Online Exclusive products that were released?  If not, you can see them HERE

Today we are going to talk about one of the bundles called Potions & Spells.  I'm usually not a big Halloween crafting person, well, more that I do not make Halloween cards.  But this bundle has changed my mind!  Look at these two cute card examples.

Potions & Spells Bundle Image

And a pack of card stock, an ink pad or maybe our Scalloped Gift Card Box to put a treat in!  Add something small if ordering this bundle to qualify for our BONUS DAYS!

Bonus Days

Here are some more creative ideas using the Potions & Spells Bundle!

Potions & Spells Bundle idea share

There are so many ways you can use the Potions & Spells Bundle that you’ll love no matter how you do it!

For a simple card, just stamp the cauldron image onto a cardstock base, and die cut the cat (don’t forget to color in the eyes with the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends!). Create a banner for your sentiment and pop it up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, and you are ready to go!

But let’s say you want your creativity to go beyond card making. How about a treat bag? Die cut the bubbles and cat on Basic White Cardstock, and use a Blending Brush to color them in. To create the bag, measure Pecan Pie Cardstock to 5-1/4" x 8". On the long side, score 1-1/4", 3-3/4", 5", and 7-1/2". On the short side, score to 1-1/4" to make the bag. Make the handle with Basic Black Cardstock to measure 3/4" x 8".

But you can go even further and create Halloween decor. Start with 6" x 11" cardstock, and score the long side at 3" and 8", then die cut the cat, the broom, the bubbles, and the cauldron (emboss the cauldron with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder). Set the Full of Life Designer Series Paper as the backdrop and create a peek-through effect with the Delicate Forest Dies. If you want to bring it to life even more, build up the inside scene with foam sheets.

Using Your 6x6 Designer Paper

Hello!  And thanks for stopping by.

Do you hate cutting into a 6 x 6 designer series paper stack or 12 x 12 for that matter?  Do you find your saving paper, or wish you could show more?  Well, I have a solution for you!

Here's another fall project share featuring the All About Autumn suite collection.  I am gone to show you how to show off as much of a piece of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  So now you don't have to be so worried about cutting that 12 x 12 or using up your 6x 6 papers.

Look at that shining foil!

#allaboutautumn #lisabrown #tri-fold

Here's how the card opens... and how it shows off just about a full piece of 6 x 6 DSP!

So I did not notice when I took the photo, but the plain white rectangle looks like it is attached to the front rectangle, but it is not.  The black mat rectangle and the inside white are the same size.  If that area is not large enough for your sentiment, don't be afraid to put a piece of white on the back of your card.

#allaboutautumn #stampwithlisabrown #fold

  • The card base is 5-1/5 x 8-1/2 and scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4
  • 6 x 6 DSP is cut down to 5-3/8 x 6 and the cut into 2" strips.
  • Another piece of DSP (the one with foil) is 2 x 5-3/8

I think I'm going to adapt this multiple paneled card for Christmas!  I have lots of DSP to share.

Here is a list of supplies I used:

So Grateful Pop Out Creative Fold

So Grateful... November is a good reminder of what we are grateful for; family, friends and simple blessings in  our life.  I wanted to share this sweet card project that is a creative fold with a surprising inside.

The featured stamp set is called Apple Harvest and the background was made with the Gingham embossing folder.

20221102_094925

My card base is Real Red CS (card stock) cut to  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and scored at 2-1/8 from each end.

The front panels are two pieces of Basic White CS cut to 2 x 5-3/8.  Take Real  Red ink pad and lightly rub over the raised image side of the Gingham embossing folder, and emboss your two panels.

On a 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic White, stamp your words and apple image with Black Memento.  I used the following Stampin' Blends makers to color:  Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and the Color Lifter.   Mat this to a piece of Granny Apple Green Cs that is 3 x 4.

Surprise Inside:

20221102_094940

To make the pop-up pieces:  cut 2  pieces of Basic White CS 1 x 5" and score at 1", 2-3/16" and 4

I hope you  liked the surprise inside!  Below is a list of products I used for quick reference.

Thank you for joining us for this month's Team Blog Hop!

I think I say this each year... Fall is my favorite season!  The fresh, crisp air and beautiful colors.  Funny, even though it means plants, flowers, and trees are losing their foliage and dying out for the year, it is more rejuvenating to me than spring.

I'm excited to share my fall project with you, which is a creative fold card, featuring the Hello Harvest Bundle and Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper.

Be sure to read to the end for 2 (two) incredible September deals happening now!

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Fall Is In the Air

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome to our October Team Blog Hop!  Fall is my favorite time of the year so I am excited to have this as our topic for this month.

I chose to use the Quiet Meadow Bundle as the focal of my project.  What a great stamp and die set.  I hope you like my project and my supply list can be found below.

#fall#stampwithlisabrown

Card Details:

  • Soft Suede card base.  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4
  • Adhere a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper
  • Next I used a piece of Very Vanilla CS that was 4 x 5-1/4.  To this, you will want to stamp the word stamp in Soft Suede ink all over your Vanilla card stock.  Then hand tear the edges so it is approximately 3-3/4 x 5 (does not have to be exact).  Next, use a sponge dauber to add Soft Suede ink the the edges and adhere to card front
  • Die cut flowers and leaves as shown and adhere to card front.  I added the Rich Razzleberry and So Saffron flowers with Dimensionals
  • Stamp words in Soft Suede and die cut.  Add to card with Dimensionals
  • Die die and add butterflies
  • Embellish with a Bumblebee Trinket, In Color Gems and Gold Cording
