Hello!  I hope your summer is going well.  

The weather so far, has been very warm and humid here in NE Ohio.  So today's card share is a great display of where I would like to be... which is sitting in that red chair!

This project has little stamping, blending with brushes and markers, and some die cutting.  

  • using Blending Brushes, apply Pecan Pie, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight inks to the front and inside pieces
  • stamp seashells to front and sand castle on the inside using Pecan Pie ink
  • stamp words on outside and inside
  • on scrap basic white, stamp chair and umbrella with Memento black ink, color with Stampin' Blends (see colors below) and die cut
  • grass and palms where die cut with Mossy Meadow cardstock
  • tree truck is die cut using Crumb Cake cardstock
  • die cut sun with Daffodil Delight cardstock
  • adhere pieces to card front and use Dimensionals for the chair
  • stamp seagull now that your palm tree is in place

I love these stamps and dies... How fun to make this into a Christmas card too!

Queen Bee Bundle

Welcome to today's post. 

Featuring from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog:  it's the Queen Bee Bundle!

This one of my favorite bundles in the new mini catalog.  It also was inspired by million dollar achiever, Laura Milligan!  I think she has great taste and she helped design this stamp and bundle set for her milestone achievement.  The bundle's dies have a little of everything (a bee, foliage, a label,  honeycombs and more).

I used Old Olive, Basic Black and Basic White for card stock. 

The bee and words are heat embossed in black to add some shine along with the embellishments. 

Tip:  use Adhesive Sheets when die cutting the honeycombs

Sweat As A Peach Gift Card Holder

SAVI Sunday 53 - How To Do Easy Spotlight Card

Welcome to Episode 53 of my YouTube Series... SAVI Sunday (stamping & various inspiration).  You can click the above link to watch my video or see it posted below.  Make sure you are subscribed to my channel while you are watching. 

So my Spotlight card features the below items.  Two I know for sure will be retiring in a few short weeks; True Love Designer Series Paper and the Purple Posy Blends Combo Pack.  But I am in fear of a favorite die set going too... the Well Written Dies.  This die set has 24 dies!  14 of them are words like I am using below.  We will be finding out this week (March 24, 2021) what is retiring from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog so stay tuned.

Let's take a look at my card:

I love a black-n-white design but I think adding just a splash of color adds so much to it.  

Card Details:

  • Basic Black card stock base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4"
  • True Love DSP cut 4 x 5-1/4"
  • Die cut a square of the DSP any where you would like (just leave a bit for a boarder)
  • Color image with Blends
  • Take next larger square die and cut a piece of Basic Black CS
  • Adhere colored DSP square to above piece of black cardstock
  • Adhere square with Dimensionals
  • Die cut words from Well Written Dies (Make sure to use our Adhesive Sheets!)
  • Adhere to basic white, fussy dies around words & adhere to card front
  • Don't forget some Rhinestones for some bling

I told you this was an easy spotlight card.  Don't you agree?  And the True Love Designer Series Paper is just fantastic for this.  

Don't forget, you can add as much, as little or No color at all and still end up with a beautiful card.

In Bloom Bundle

Do you like flowers as much as I do?  I have something a little different for you. 

Whether in the ground, sitting in a vase or made from paper... I just simply love flowers.  Any kind too!   The funny thing is, if I have a preference... I prefer roses in my garden (I have 6 beautiful rose plants) but I do not prefer roses in an arrangement.  I love my arrangements to be a mix of daisies, daffodils, carnations, Gerber daisies, hydrangeas, eucalyptus, sprays, etc.   They just bring a smile to my face.  

I received these tulips about 2 weeks ago.  And purple!!!  Boy, does this person know me or what?

I wanted to share the "IN BLOOM BUNDLE" with you.  These 21 unique stamps and 25 dies have several different floral patterns, almost like we have not offered before.  I know what you are saying, Stampin' up! offers a lot of floral stamps and dies.  But I think these are just a little unique, so let's take a look, also at how pretty these cards came out.  Look at all the color.   You can make single floral cards or a full bouquet!  Possibilities are just about endless.
