Friends Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper

Welcome to Creative Card Closet, I am Lisa Brown and thanks for stopping by.

Stampin' Up! has the Last Chance list up and running.  Anything listed in my Online Store that says Last Chance is retiring as of May 6, 2025.  Just a reminder on bundles, they do not carry over but the individual items may.

One of my favorite Designer Series Paper is retiring,  Friends of the Ocean.  I used this DSP in my project share below.   Note: embellishments shown are already sold out!

#friendsoftheocean #stampwithlisabrown

My card base is Thick Basic White topped with regular Basic White piece that is 4 x 5-1/4.  I ran this through our Cut-n-Emboss machine with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.

My DSP pieces are 1 x 2-1/2".  Make sure when cutting, keep pieces in order so the design flows down the card.

Melon Mambo mat pieces are 1-1/4 x 2-3/4

I have everything adhered flat except for my sentiment, which is from the Hugs For Love stamp set

This project can be easily copied and shared for any occasion.  Use your favorite Designer Series Paper and create away!

***DID YOU SEE:  Make sure to check out another project I made using this same DSP!!!  You'll love it!

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Celebrating Spring

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to our We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop.  We are glad to have you stop by and check out all our spring inspired projects.

Nothing says spring more that the blooming of florals, of course the warmer, fresh air is really nice.  Today I am featuring the Floral Delight Suite Collection along with the Fancy Borders Dies.  Let's take a look:

#floraldelightsuite #stampwithlisabrown

I used Daffodil Delight Card Stock for my card base and the middle layer scallop.  Card base is 8-1/2 x 11 scored at 4-1/4.  The middle piece is 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 then die cut with one of the Fancy Border Dies.  It will reduce the size slightly to approximately 2-5/8 x 5-1/4.  If you take slight more off, its okay as you can adjust your pieces.

Cut a piece of Floral Delight 12" x 12" Designer Series paper to 2 x 5-1/4 and die cut with the same Fancy Border Die as above.  Again, it will slight decrease size to about 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 and if its more that's okay.

Next, cut a piece of the beautiful Floral & Gingham 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series paper to 4 x 5-1/4 and die cut the edge with coordinating Fancy Borders die.

Glue above pieces together to an overall size of 4 x 5-1/4.  Add some of the Daffodil Delight ribbon first, then adhere everything to the card base.

Die cut some flowers and leaves with the Delightful Wishes Dies

Don't forget to add the cutest embellishment... Tiny Bee Trinket!

I hope you liked by project but beeeeee sure to check out what everyone else has created.

Ocean Friends and Fun Colors

Hello ~ and welcome to my blog.  My name is Lisa Brown and I'm an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator here to share all things that I love with Stampin' Up!

Today's project is using some elements from the fun and colorful Friends of the Ocean Suite Collection.  OMG!  I just LOVE the colors of the Designer Series Paper and the Sunny Day Iridescent Dot embellishments.   Take a look...

1000013797

This card makes me smile with all the bright colors:  Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo and Summer Splash.

The sentiment was created using the Hugs For Love Bundle, stamps and label punch.    I punched the label in Lemon Lime Twist and cut it half to create the mat effect on the sides.

The background is two different designs from the DSP and guess what..... SO ARE THE LOBSTERS!  I fussy cut them out.

This is a super easy card to recreate.  Give it a try even with other papers and colors.
