We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Celebrating Red, White & Blue

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to this month's Team Blog Hop Celebrating Red, White & Blue!

When someone says red, white, and blue, we automatically think patriotic or 4th of July; which is just a few days away.  I took a different direction with a fun birthday card and a simple thank you card.  Let's take a look.

Of course, if you know anyone born on the 4th of July, this would be a perfect card.

I used Real Red and Blueberry Bushel for my colors.  The stamp set if "With You In Mind".  I stamped the cupcakes several times in both colors and fussy cut them out.  Two of them I swapped colors (blue top and red bottom).  Use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop of those up for dimension.

For the stripes, I simply used my Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Blends marker to create.  I did cut a separate piece of Basic White card stock that is 2 x 5-1/4 just make sure my stripes are all even in height, but the cupcakes would have covered anyways.

The Sheer ribbon is on the Last Chance list!  This is one of my favorites so be sure to get some before its gone.

For my Thank Card, I again used the "With You In Mind" stamp set along with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.

Both cards I added some Basic Rhinestones to add some bling!  I hope you liked these card projects.  Now let's buzzzz on over to see what Leigh as prepared for us...
