We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Christmas Time

Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to this month's Team Blog Hop - Christmas Time.

I chose to share a more rustic themed card featuring the Sophisticated Sled Bundle, one of my favorites from the September - December 2024 mini catalog.  Sometimes I tend to do not-so-traditional Christmas card fronts, but always put a nice holiday sentiment on the inside.

I have done several projects using this bundle, and guess what, they did not even feature the sled; so here is yet another one.  The ice skate dies in this bundle are just so fabulous that I keep going back to them.

I embossed a piece of Early Espresso card stock with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing.  Then I lightly tapped the high embossed ridges with a VersaMark ink pad, sprinkled with Gold Embossing powder and heat set.  I really love how the background turned out.  The skates are die cut from Very Vanilla and Gold Foil papers.  The words at the bottom are Gold Heat embossed on Very Vanilla, which is 3/4" x 2-1/4".  And finally the wreath is die cut from Very Vanilla card stock as well.

So the skates do not look like they are just floating, I used some Linen Thread to make it look like they are hanging.

I accented with a Gold 1/8" Trim bow and added a few Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.
