Crafting With You!

Hello ~ and welcome to my blog, Creative Card Closet.  My name is Lisa Brown and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I love sharing projects and ideas with you, so let's get started.

Today I will be sharing a cute project made with the Crafting With You Stamps and Dies.  But first, I wanted to tell you that Stampin' Up! is celebrating World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 5th from 4:00 - 5:00 EST.  You can sign up (no later than October 4th at 4:00 pm EST) to participate by click here: WCMD.    You will receive a link to join the 1-hour event.  Hope to see you virtually!

World Card Making Day

Now on to our project.  I recently was a vendor for a crafting crop weekend that I have been attending over the last several year.  I always provide a free make-n-take project.  Anyone who wanted to make this card could, and I offered them to make in any of the five 2024-2026 In Colors.  I prepped over 30 cards!

This is only showing the Summer Splash color option:

This is a great card as it combines several 2024-2026 In Color products:  *card stock    *inks    *6x6 designer series paper    *resin dots

The 6x6 DSP is cut to 3 x 5-1/2 (keep those scraps as I will share another project later this week).  Again, I prepped over 30 projects so I had a lot scrap pieces which gave me the idea for this card.  I just could not throw all those pieces away.  Are you like that?

I cut the rectangle piece using the Deckled Rectangle Dies, and from the white mat which is 3-1/2 x 5-1/2.

The ruler and scissors are silver foil which black card stock for the scissors handles.

Super easy to create and everyone loved this card!
