Sophisticated Sled Card With a Wood Background

Hello ~ and welcome to my blog, Creative Card Closet. My name is Lisa Brown and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I love sharing projects and ideas with you, so let's get started.
Today I am sharing a card made with a stamp and die bundle called "Sophisticated Sled". This bundle is an Online Exclusive meaning it will not show in any catalog publication.
I like it as it offers some variety, especially how you can create the sled. For this card, I simply stamped the sled and used the framelit die to cut out. I will be sharing another project showing how to creating the sled with die cuts so stay tuned for that.
So same, you can simply stamp the ice skates, color and die cut with framelit die but in my project, I die cut the boots, laces and blades and glued them together! So cool. Let's take a look.
My colors are Gray Granite and Petal Pink. I chose those because they coordinate with Designer Series Paper called Country Woods. This is a great 12 x 12 paper pack you should check especially, until August 31, 2024... It's On Sale! All our DSP in the Annual Catalog is 15%.
There are two layers of greenery done in Old Olive and Granny Apple Green.
I added a Linen Thread Bow that has 4 loops for some bulk.
