Do you ever have someone in mind when you are looking through a Stampin' Up! catalog and see something you have to have for that person?  Well, the Take To The Sky Suite Collection was just that for me.  And how appropriate too for Father's Day...  I had to have because of my DAD!  He has been a private pilot for the majority of his life.  Airplanes are his true passion.  And although, within the last few years, giving up his pilots license, he keeps himself surrounded by friends who share the same passion.  

He would be upset with me if he know I was going to tell you this... but here it goes.  As dad ages, his memory is full.  I can tell him something today and he may or may not remember it tomorrow.  Not that he has an issue or anything, I just think as someone ages, short term memory is not what it used to be.  But boy!  Talk to him about airplanes and he is as sharp as a tack!  It is amazing. 

I know he misses flying, and even though the "Take To The Sky" suite collection does not have the exact airplanes he owned or flew, I know he will appreciate his Father's Day card this year.

Using Stampin' Dimensions was perfect to make the small cloud and airplane stand out.  My photo light is shining from the top so it accentuates the dimension.  This project came together very easily and I cannot wait to give it to Dad.

So on my last post, which you can see HERE, I introduced the Country Woods Suite Collection.  This is what I call a mega suite because it includes soooo many products.  Click below image to get a full description of all 9 products!

Can I dare say ten products... because the ribbon is a double pack!

So again, I previously shared this suite but concentrated on the Country Birdhouse bundle so today, I am going to share a project featuring the Country Flowers bundle. 

I love the background feature on this one.  I used a piece of Petal Pink CS cut to 2 x 5-1/4 and then cut 1/2" strips of Country Lace Designer Series paper.  Score your Petal Pink CS every 1/2" to help with the alignment of your strips.  Chose which pattern you would like as the "back" piece and start with that pattern first.  So in my example, the wood grain was done first.  The Stampin' Trimmer and Multipurpose liquid glue listed below are so helpful in this process.  Making it quick and easy. 

• My card base is Early Espresso ( 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4)
• Layer of Petal Pink CS (4-1/8 x 5-3/8)
• Layer of Country Woods DSP (4 x 5-1/4)

The flowers, bucket, and stool are all colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and die cut with the Country Flowers dies.  I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the flowers. 

Lastly, add some needed bling with a few of the Basic Gray & Smokey Slate Pearls.

There are so many great new products to see so it was hard to chose what I wanted to feature so I started with the New 2024-2026 In Colors.  Keep reading below has we have an amazing offer available!

I created a fractured card featuring  two new colors, Summer Splash and Petunia Pop.  Look at that Glimmer Paper... one of my favorite new items. 

I chose the Unbounded Beauty Suite Collection.  I call this a mega suite because it contains 2 stamp sets, 2 die sets, 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, a 5 pack of Glimmer paper and embellishments!  

In stead of the Resin Dots, I did use the new 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.  And of course, some Petunia Pop ribbon.  I'll have everything linked below!  This was such a fun card to make.  Start out with a standard card base...

• Summer Splash card stock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 for card base
• Summer Splash CS cut 4 x 5-1/4 then scored at 3/4" across the top and 1/2" down each side.  This is an easy guide for your middle squares
• Petunia Pop CS cut 2-1/4 x 2-1/4" and mounted to middle by lining top point to top score line and making sure each side point evenly touches the side score lines.
• You'll need 3 pieces of Petunia Pop Glimmer paper cut 1/4 x 5 and one piece 1/4 x 2-1/4
• Adhere glimmer stripes around square, trimming off the excess
• Then take 2 pieces of DSP (Designer Series Paper) 6x6 will do, and inlay them against the glimmer paper, trimming off the excess
• Finish off with a center sentiment on a 2 x 2 square of basic white card stock then decorate
