Using Your 6x6 Designer Paper

Hello!  And thanks for stopping by.

Do you hate cutting into a 6 x 6 designer series paper stack or 12 x 12 for that matter?  Do you find your saving paper, or wish you could show more?  Well, I have a solution for you!

Here's another fall project share featuring the All About Autumn suite collection.  I am gone to show you how to show off as much of a piece of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  So now you don't have to be so worried about cutting that 12 x 12 or using up your 6x 6 papers.

Look at that shining foil!

Here's how the card opens... and how it shows off just about a full piece of 6 x 6 DSP!

So I did not notice when I took the photo, but the plain white rectangle looks like it is attached to the front rectangle, but it is not.  The black mat rectangle and the inside white are the same size.  If that area is not large enough for your sentiment, don't be afraid to put a piece of white on the back of your card.

#allaboutautumn #stampwithlisabrown #fold

  • The card base is 5-1/5 x 8-1/2 and scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4
  • 6 x 6 DSP is cut down to 5-3/8 x 6 and the cut into 2" strips.
  • Another piece of DSP (the one with foil) is 2 x 5-3/8

I think I'm going to adapt this multiple paneled card for Christmas!  I have lots of DSP to share.

Here is a list of supplies I used:

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop So Grateful

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome!  Thank you for stopping by our We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop.  This month's theme we have name "so grateful".  I don't think we always take the time to think about all the things we are grateful for.  It is easy to go to that bad place, so let's take a minute; close your eyes and think of your grateful list.  I will give you a few of minute before I share my project.

My Grateful List:

  • My family.  I have such a close and blessed relationship with my dad.  I count my blessings every day
  • Good friends.  I have so many friends new and old.  My friend Maggie and I have been in each other's life since 1st grade!
  • My home.  I am proud to have a good roof over my head
  • My stamping family and friends.   I have made such wonderful connections through stamping.  I'm so grateful each and every one.

Thank you for letting me share a bit of me.  Let's take a look at my project...

What says it better for this time of year and being grateful than the All About Autumn suite collection.  I cannot get enough of it, and my favorite 2023-2025 In Color called Moody Mauve.

So I have used Moody Mauve for the card base with a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 piece of the DSP All About About.  Look at that foil!

I then cut another piece of DSP (the leaves) 2-7/8 x 4-1/4 and used Basic White for a mat that is 3 x 4-3/8.

I inked the leaf stamp in Moody Mauve ink then added Mossy Meadow to the edges with a sponge dauber.

So let's buzzzzz on ahead and see what Karen Burke over at Razzle Dazzle Ink is sharing today:

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Fall Is In The Air

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome to our We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop.  We are celebrating fall and... Fall Is In The Air.  Warm days and cool nights are here and I can't wait to see the leaves full of color.  What's more perfect than using the All The About Autumn suite collection!  This suite is amazing.

#allaboutautumn #stampwithlisabrown

I used the Deckled Rectangle dies for the frame, the largest and third largest.  I also used the 2nd largest to cut the DSP out so it fits perfectly under the frame.  Run the frame through the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder before adding to card with dimensionals.

The All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is Awesome!  The photographic side depicts the perfect fall scenery while the other side is full of foil accents.  Take a closer look at the leaves.  The green maple leaf is from the DSP foil side while the veins on the other leaves is from another side.  I think it adds just that perfect shine.

We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop New Mini Catalog Highlights

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome back to our team blog hop.  This month we are highlighting the new mini catalog that goes live September 6, 2023.

The mini catalog consists of several different themes of product; fall, Christmas, Halloween, and some general products.  I have to say, some of the ribbon and embellishments are among my favorites!

Here's a sneak peak of some of the papers, ribbon and embellishments.

I'm sharing the All About Autumn Suite Collection (#162193).  There is so much in this suite that I had a hard time using each item.  The ribbon is a combo pack so you on see one of them and I did not use the embossing folder.   I used a few of the New 2023-2026 In-Colors:  Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, and Wild Wheat.
