We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Slimline Cards
10/01/2022
Welcome to this month's team blog hop featuring Slimline Cards. These have been a wildly popular card, cut to a different size... slim and long, fitting into a business size envelope. My card features the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle from the fall/holiday catalog.
Card Details:
- Card Base is Mint Macaron CS cut 8 x 9-1/4 and scored at 4" on the 8" side
- Basic White CS layer is 4 x 9
- Basic White 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 (quarter sheet for houses, roofs, and wreaths)
- White Glimmer paper 4 x 6
- Crumb Cake CS 1 x 6 for fence and pebble stones
- Old Olive CS 4 x 5 to die cut 8 trees
With the wavy die, cut the White Glimmer paper into 3 sections. Make the bottom the longest. When cutting the other two pieces, shift the wavy die so they will be different when layering them onto the Basic White layer.
On the quarter sheet of white, stamp 2 houses in Crumb Cake ink (stamp off on scrap paper first for the houses). Also in Crumb Cake is the door, windows and door outline, and the scallop roof. Using Real Red and Old Olive markers, color and stamp two wreaths. Stamp the windows in So Saffron. Die cut all pieces, adhering the scallop roof and wreath to each house.
Assembly all pieces, tucking the top house and some of the trees behind the snow drifts.
Add a rhinestone to the doors for knobs.
Stamp the bubble stamp (I used the reverse side of the side) in Mint Macaron ink, stamping off first. Then stamped the words in same color, not stamped off.
