June 2022 Kit Promotion

There is a June Promotion going on and I think it is perfect for busy Summers!

Do you find yourself with a busy summer schedule?  Graduations, showers, weddings, vacation and more...  don't forget you will need a card for a lot of those occasions and I have the perfect solution!

Are you a camper or you know someone who is? Kits are a great way to keep crafting over the summer without taking your entire stamp room inventory with you.  We have multiple all inclusive kits (envelopes, adhesive, mini ink pad, even a block... look at the product description to see what's included).

Stampin' Up! offers some great kits and now until June 30, 2022, they are Buy One Get One 50% off.

We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Color Coach Challenge

BeeBlogHopOpeningIcon

Welcome to our We BEE Stamping Blog Hop!

This month's theme is Color Coach Challenge.  What is a color coach?  Well, it is a color chart that Stampin' Up! provides with different combinations of color we normally would not think of.  Seeing as the 2022-2024 In-Colors are fresh an new, I chose to use the Sweet Sorbet coach and went with the combination of Calypso Coral and Balmy Blue.  Here is what the coach looks like, and we have them for all the colors!  Very cool tool to have and a perk of a demonstrator.

I don't know.... I'm kinda liking the Sweet Sorbet, Blushing Bride and Pool Party combo too!!!  What do you think?

Well, let's take a look at my project which features the new Cottage Rose Bundle.

Paper:

  • Balmy Blue CS:        4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and 3-1/4 x 8-1/2 (scored at 4-1/4 x 6-3/8)
  • Calypso Coral CS:   2 pieces at 3-1/8 x 4-1/8 and a scrap piece for die cut & punch
  • Basic Black CS:        2 x 3 (die cut flower inside)
  • Basic White CS:       2 pieces at 3 x 4 and 1-1/2 x 3 and 2 pieces 1 x 4-1/8

Using the COTTAGE ROSE BUNDLE, stamp the flowers randomly on both the 1 x 4-1/8 pieces of basic white.  Color using Stampin' Blends markers in Balmy Blue, Sweet Sorbet, and Parkeet Party.  Adhere to sides of Balmy Blue CS that 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

Fold Balmy Blue 3-1/4 x 8-1/2 on scores and adhere largest section to center of above.  You can add the two pieces of Calypso Coral mats.   Only add glue to the bottom half of the piece that will be on front of card.

Stamp and die cut your pieces on the two basic white 3 x 4 pieces and adhere.  Stamp and punch sentiment with Oval Punch and adhere with Dimensionals.
