Hello Tulips! Step Card

Hello there...

My card project today was from a product challenge I took part in.  My upline sends a random sampling of product that is being released, in the case,  from the 2022 Jan-June Mini catalog.  For this card I used a piece of the Flowerings Fields 12 x 12" Designer Series Paper and the Brushed Brass Butterflies.

I am super excited that my card came in 1st place!  Yahoo!  So, let me share with you.

Card Details:

  • 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Black Card Stock - scored and folded at 4-1/4 to form card base
  • DSP 4 x 5-1/4
  • Poppy Parade card stock 4 x 5-1/4 and scrap to die cut the letters

You will need five different sizes of the Stitched Rectangle Die.  You will cut the DSP with the largest one, then third and fourth sizes down.

With the second largest and small rectangle dies, you will cut the Poppy Parade card stock

  • Once all rectangles are cut, adhere the largest DSP piece on top of Poppy Parade that leaves a 1/4" boarder.  Adhere with two (2) layers of Black Dimensionals for extra height.
  • Do the same thing to the next sizes down except only use one (1) layer of Black Dimensionals.

Die cut three (3) sets of "HELLO" with the left over small rectangle and scrap Poppy Parade card stock.  Glue letters together and adhere to center of card.  Decorate with a couple of the Brushed Brass Butterflies.
