Mountain Air Landscape

PicsArt_03-22-10.22.54

Look how beautiful those mountains stamped.  The New Mountain Air Bundle in the 2020 Mini catalog is a unique stamp set.  You can really create some beautiful landscape cards with this one!  In my sample, I only used one tree die, but there are several others for the mountains and the long tree line, and more.

The most unique quality is that they are REVERSIBLE stamps.  Now, being reversible does not mean that it will give you an exact filler.  So just think outside the box a little bit.  If you click on the picture it should open up in a new window and larger.  Zoom in on the clouds and you will see what I am talking about not being exact.  But guess what?  I think it looks great!

I posted a YouTube video of how I made this card.  You can watch below but be sure to Subscribe to my Channel so you're not missing anything!

Early Espresso card base is 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4

Layer of Seaside Spray cut 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"

Very Vanilla top layer is 4 x 5-1/4"

Forever Blossoms & Black Ice

If you don't know this about me already, I am in love with the Parisian Blossoms Product Suite.  Who doesn't love Paris???  I had a post a couple of weeks ago that you can see HERE of a relatively simple and pretty card.  I declared my love the product suite then and today, my mind is no different.  Matter of fact, be sure to check out yesterday's SAVI Sunday video and while there, subscribe to my channel.

I had a in-person technique class recently, and the ladies really enjoyed the projects and were amazed at the Black Ice Technique.  I actually did this technique class probably 1-1/2 years ago but had several requests to do again.

Here is one of the projects made with the cherry blossom flower from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in the Parisian Blossoms suite.

PicsArt_03-13-01.05.23

Card base is Early Espresso standard 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4.

Gold Fold Sheet cut to 5-1/4 x 4" (this is what we did the Black Ice Technique on)

Label punch is the Timeless Label Punch punched with Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.  Words were stamped using the New Saddle Brown Stazon ink pad.

I'm excited that the Glitter Enamels Dots are still available as they make a nice accent along with the Very Vanilla satin ribbon with the gold edging.

Here is a close up picture:

The black ice technique is a combination of foil paper, permanent ink and clear embossing powder.  I love the texture that it leaves. Have you tried this technique?

**Before you look at my supplies list, note that I linked the Entire Parisian Blossoms Product Suite!  Just so you know, items can be individually purchased along with the 2 Bundles (stamp set w/dies) in the suite.  Questions... just shoot me an email!

Elegant Birthday Card

Have you guys been keeping busy?  I always think the first quarter of the year is going to provide some down time, but I don't know where is it all going.  Including Sale-a-Bration... we are in the last couple of weeks already.  Crazy!

I did not want you to miss out on some really pretty paper and a great stamp set.  I used both, along with some coordinating dies to create these cards.

My colors are Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam.  Two of my favorites.  I know you cannot order the Purple Posy ink pad but you can order Purple Posy Blends to color images, ribbons, accessories.  It is a great option to still be able to use the color.  Love using my Blends for this purpose, in any color!

My card bases are standard 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 then scored at 4-1/4"

The So Very Vellum paper is a Free Sales-a-Bration earn with a $50.00 product purchase.  I cut my pieces to 4" x 5-1/2" so this way you can get six pieces per sheet.  The So Very Vellum comes in a 12x12 pack of 3 colors (blue not shown) and you receive two sheets of each color.

Another Free Sale-a-Bration earn with a $50.00 product purchase, is the Happy Birthday To You stamp set.  Did you notice, I only have the Flowers on my card and not the cake like the stamp has!!!  That's because there is a coordinating product called Birthday Dies and one of the dies just cuts the flowers!  This is a huge bonus for me to get altered looks from the stamp set.  I used Smokey Slate ink for a softer look.

Here are the dies...

BD Dies

LOOK!  The sprig and leaf dies cut 2 at a time!!!  So I cut some glimmer sprigs and some vellum leaves.

I'd be remiss if I did not mention the stitched rectangle... this is from one of my NEW FAVORITE Die sets called Stitched So Sweetly found in the 2020 Mini Catalog.  It is available in a BUNDLE Call So Sentimental but for this project, I just used the dies. check them out, they are awesome!
