I'm so giddy over this Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and Butterfly Brilliance Collection!  The colors and 6x6 paper (Butterfly Bijou) is so awesome and right up my alley.  I hope you like it too as I already have multiple card projects to share with you over the next week. 

So before we take a look at my project, you may have asked, what is the difference between a "bundle" and a "collection".  

BUNDLE:  stamps and coordinating die (or a punch).  Bundles always have a 10% Savings!

COLLECTION:  stamps, coordinating dies (or punch), paper (in this case 2 different kinds of paper).  Sometimes there is ribbon and/or embellishments.   Collections also include the 10% Savings!  Here are pictures of the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and Collection...

This collection includes the 6x6 DSP Pack - Butterfly Bijou paper (48 sheets) and the unique Natural Touches Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The two items are ONLY available until May 3, 2021 or while supplies last!!! 

Now, let's take a look at my project,  I hope you like the colors as much as I do!  I just think these are such happy colors. 

Can't forget the inside.... 

DETAILS:

• Magenta Madness card stock card base cut 5-1/2 x 7-1/2".  Score at 4-1/4 and fold.  
• Basic Black CS layer cut 3-1/8 x 5-3/8"
• Butterfly Bijou DSP cut 3 x 5-1/4"
• Adhere the DSP to the Black layer then wrap a piece of the black Glitter Organdy Ribbon across the middle then adhere to card front
• Stamp butterfly in Black Memento ink on a piece of the Butterfly Bijou DSP and die cut
• From your DSP cuts, you should have some strips left.  I have a piece cut to 3/8 x 5-1/8.  Cut in half & banner cut the ends. 
• Cut two piece of the Glitter Organdy Ribbon about 2-1/2" each and adhere to back of butterfly.  Then adhere the two strips from above step and adhere to back of butterfly and ribbon.
• Add butterfly to card front with dimensions towards center of butterfly so wings and be curled up away from card a bit

INSIDE:

• Basic Black CS cut to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
• Basic White CS cut to 4 x 5-1/4
• (2) two pieces of DSP cut 1/2 x 5-1/8

EXTRA DETAILS:   Add some Wink of Stella to the butterfly for some extra sparkle.  Words are from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set.

Welcome to our March Blog Hop - Marching Into Spring

It's coming... it's finally coming!  Have you ever been so excited to see spring coming more than this year?  I, for one, feel like winter has lasted forever and that we have been locked inside since I don't know when.  I am sure its likely because, this month, we will be in what I call Covid mode, for a year.  Spring to me is new life, renewal, fresh air, bright colors, flowers and more.  Bring it on!

For my Marching Into Spring project, I chose to combine a few of my favorite products.  The NEW (starts March 2, 2021) Butterfly Bouquet, the Forever Fern Bundle, and semi-new Many Messages Bundle.

Let's take a look:

Card Stock (CS):  Basic White & Thick Basic White, Basic Black & Butterfly Bijou 6x6 DSP

Ink:  Bumblebee, Granny Apple Green, and Black Memento

Card Details:

• Thick Basic White card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Layer of Basic Black CS measures 4 x 5-1/4 adhered to card base
• Basic White layer is 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
• Wrap a piece of Bumblebee In-Color Ribbon (about 4-1/2" long) around edges of White CS
• With the Forever Fern Bundle, stamp several leaf images in Granny Apple Green & Bumblebee and die cut
• Arrange leaves how you like
• Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere Gold Hoop (my several glue dots are hiding behind the butterfly
• Stamp butterfly with Memento ink onto a piece of the Butterfly Bijou DSP (2-1/2 x 3-1/2)
• Then die cut the butterfly out along with another one in Basic Black
• Place adhere down the center of the DSP cut butterfly adhering it to the Basic Black butterfly
• Add Butterflies to card front with Dimensionals
• Words stamped in Memento are from the Many Messages Bundle.  I edged with Bumblebee ink

Savi Sunday - Featuring the Hey Chick Bundle

What a fun stamp and die set!!!  So the Chick Chick was a free Sale-a-Bration earn from 2017 and it was so crazy popular, Stampin' Up! decided to bring it back with coordinating dies!  

Let's take a look at what I came up with.... which I am so excited about:

Isn't that cute!  The corn and stalks, and the chick coop.... oh my!

Before I give you all the cute dimensions and colors, but sure to use our Adhesive Sheets on all the dies cuts.  It is truly a saver of patience when trying to adhere down all those tiny pieces.  

Card Details:

• Thick Basic White card base cut 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
• Basic Black CS cut 3-1/2 x 5
• Pool Party CS cut 3-3/8 x 4-7/8
• Silver Foil Sheet piece for fence 1-1/2 x 3
• Real Red CS for chicken coop 2 x 2-3/4
• Scrap Daffodil Delight CS for corn
• Garden Green CS 3-1/2 x 4 to cut stalks & bottom of corn (husks)
• Very Vanilla CS 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 for sign and chicken
• Early Espresso CS 1-1/2 x 1-3/4 for sign

I colored the chicken with Stampin' Blends in Crumb Cake Light & Dark, then used Dark Poppy Parade and Dark Mango Melody for his waddle, top and beak.

I cut one piece of fencing and cut in half lengthwise and then over lapped to get a continuous look.
