Grapefruit Grove Hearts?

PicsArt_01-20-11.05.22[1]

OMG!  This Foil Paper from Sale-a-Bration is awesome!!!  The picture does not give it any justice because the lights pick up so much reflection.

So a $50 product order earns you a Free Level 1 Sale-a-Bration item.  The foil paper is a Level 1 item.  You get four(4) 12 x 12 sheets of Grapefruit Grove Foil AND four (4) 12 x 12 sheets of Lovely Lipstick Foil paper.  They are both really pretty.

I have combined by heart card with Grapefruit Grove and Calypso Coral card stock and the Meant To Be Bundle.  The Framelit dies have 16 dies to the set, 13 of them are hearts!  And some of the framelits do double duty!  2-for-1 cut-out!  See in my card above, see the thin stitched-scalloped outline heart.  The solid heart on the card came from the center of the stitched-scalloped heart.... that's the 2-for-1!

How about a 21-for-1 deal..... see the cluster of hearts at the bottom?  Once you die cut that, you are left with 21 little hearts!  I adhered some to the inside of my card.  The rest can be put inside the card/envelope as confetti!  Hmmm...not sure why this is sideways.

I wanted to use the Meant To Be bundle as a non-Valentine card.  You can make birthday, thinking of you, sharing some love cards and more!  It's not just for Valentine's Day!

Geared Up Garage

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  The weather is messing with us, isn't it?  A little bit of sun, a tiny bit of snow, and cold!  I guess I can deal with cold temperatures as long as the sun would shine.  It just makes it feel better.

Friday was my dad's birthday and what better card to give then one made with Geared Up Garage stamp set and Garage Gear Thinlit Dies.  I was so excited to see the smile on his face when he opened it up.  Of course, before he opened, he asked "did you make this?"  He's so funny.

PicsArt_02-10-11.01.27[1]

It was fun to create a masculine card and I need to play with the set more!  Actually, the whole project suite.  I did not get to use the Classic Garage metal embellishments on this one,  nor the Black/Silver stripped metallic ribbon.  I tried, but sometimes, it just does not work for me visually.

2 Tips:

Anyways, sorry about the poor photography on this one.  The Gear Die is all one piece and cut out of Silver Foil paper.  The light reflection makes the foil paper look like two different colors.  I cut the gears out of the silver mat piece!  Paper server..... To help resist the 'bumps' from my cutting plates being pressed into the foil, I cover my project in plastic.  I save the plastic that Stampin' Up! card stock comes in and cut it up into strips.  You just have to make sure to smooth it out over your project before running through your Big Shot.

I really like the black and white tire paper from the Classic Garage 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack.  I am so partial to black and white, but there are some fun colorful sheets that come in the stack. Make sure to check out my complete supply list below and check out the paper.

A little bit of coloring with Cherry Cobbler Blends markers, and Framelit dies from Classic Garage and this card came together nicely.  Well, I had a bit of inspiration too from Carolyn King, an Australian Demonstrator.

I hardly ever decorate both insides of a card but I wanted to include more die cuts!  So here is my inside.  This shows the little nut trio stamp and you can see the oil spatter stamp better than on the front.  So cute!

Oh.... and in case you were wondering, the Happy Birthday just happens to be from Sweetest Thing stamp set.  I've included a link below.

Happy Thoughts in Pink!

PicsArt_01-20-11.21.31[1]

I think everyone knows how cold it is but I would be amiss if I didn't mention it.  Ohio made out far better than others... at a low of -6 (wind chills around -30).  Either way, it is still freeezzzziiinnnnnggggg.... lots of warm blankets and slippers!  So I just keep happy thoughts knowing that this too shall pass.  I made some happy cards recently and they help me to keep warm thoughts!

This pink beauty features the All My Love Designer Series Paper.

All My Love DSP

It is the perfect paper because features Hearts and Flowers giving it more than one use.  I can use for more than just for Valentine's Day and I love that Stampin' Up! is doing things like this.  The colors are great with several pinks (Lovely Lipstick, Blushing Bride, Powder Pink) and Crumb Cake.  There is even a little Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam...

I chose Powder Pink card stock to coordinate with the designer series paper and the Powder Pink Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

The little green butterfly is from the Butterfly Gala Bundle (stamps and a punch) which is unfortunately sold out at the moment.  But it will be back!

The Wood element outline butterfly, earn that for FREE with a $50 product order.  It is called Butterfly Elements and there is a total of 84 pieces in the pack in all shapes and sizes along with some tiny wooden flowers and leaves.  I attached to my card with Tombow Liquid Glue and glue dots, just to be sure.

Snow and Foiled Butterflies

Well, Mother Nature has finally figured out that it is winter.  A bit of snow last week and with cold temperatures, so it is staying on the ground.  The forecast is for a snowy weekend too!  This might be a repeat for my dad......

PicsArt_01-17-12.04.23[1]

Ha!  Ha!  My dad is so good to me :)   But, YES!  I can run that machine myself.  5 gears and 2 reverses... and an electric starter.  Funny, I believe this picture was taken last winter on a morning that I had Card Club... hmmmm, I have club this weekend but he is in Florida.  Something wrong with this scenario.

Any way, today I wanted to share this beautiful butterfly card.  Stampin' Up! has come out with some incredible new butterfly stamps, dies, punches and paper in the 2019 Occasions catalog and Sale-a-Bration catalog.

PicsArt_01-10-01.01.31[1]

These butterfly thinlit dies are available in a new bundle called Beauty Bounds.  There are 20 dies and 13 stamps and qualifies for a Free Sale-a-Bration item. As in my card sample, I chose the Grapefruit Grove/Lovely Lipstick Foil paper for my free Sale-a-Bration item.  This paper will make you wish you had more!

I will definitely be showing more samples made with this bundle because there is so much you can do.  A cool thing is there are multiples  of the same dies so you can cut several small butterflies at once.  A real time saver.

Here is my supply list for the card.  I hope you like this one and are able to get this bundle today.
