To place an order in my Online Store, use HOSTESS CODE:  GUB4SCG2 and you will receive a Thank You Gift from me.  Valid for 1 week (April  15th).  Do not use this code if ordering $150.00 in product as you will get your own hostess rewards.

There is a lot happening along with some exciting changes.  I can't wait to be able to share with you.

Ink & Paper Reference Chart

So I have been asked by several of customers for a reference chart.  A chart showing what inks tools (Blender pens, watercolor pencils, Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, Brusho crystal colour, and Aqua Painters) can be used with what ink and papers.

Download INK & COLOR GUIDE CHART  It is a chart I designed and hopefully you find useful.

Ink & Color Guide

Keep in mind, the above chart is from my experiences and what I have done.  It is my recommendations and not that of Stampin' Up!

Read the chart from left to right.  For example, Watercolor Pencils... I recommend using Stampin' Up! Archival Black or Gray ink pads and using with an Aqua Painter to spread the color.  I do not recommend using the Memento ink pad as it will smear and smudge as it is a water-based ink.  You can use Stampin' Up! Classic Ink Pads but with ease as the water will pull color from the ink pad color.  I think this adds to the design (but only if you are not looking for a hard outlined image).  The last column are my paper recommendations.

I hope you find this information helpful in choosing your coloring tools, inks and paper.

Any questions, just ask!

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper Meets Stampin' Blends

I have been more than pleased with the alcohol markers by Stampin' Up! called Stampin' Blends.  Apparently everyone else too!  The Blends are currently on a non-order-able status so I wanted to let you know that up front.   But... they will be back at the end of May so if you have not tried these yet, rest assured, they will be back and thus I decided to go forward with my post.

Here are the 8 cards my customers where able to create from ONE piece of 12 x 12 paper from the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper.

This was a product based class so everyone received a full pack of the Petal Passion paper, some Blends markers (they could choose their bundle), Petal Passion Embellishments and more.   After my introduction to the Stampin' Blends markers, they began to color.  It was a task but I thought it was a great way to really get them to know their markers and how to use them.

Here is a short video on the very basics of using Stampin' Blends markers.  Be kind, it is my first video!
