Holly Jolly Santa is on His Way

This Santa just makes me happy.  Such a classic image of Jolly 'Ol Saint Nick.  Don't you think?

I used Soft Suede for my card base then cut a piece of Crumb Cake to 4-1/8" x 5-7/8".  I then used the brick wall pattern from the Pattern Party decorative masks and spread embossing paste over.  Make sure to immediately clean your Palette knives and masks right away!

Santa is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I have listed below the colors I used.

'Tis the Season die from the Holly Jolly bundle is cut from Basic Black and Whisper White card stock.  I offset the two when gluing together with black in the back for a shadow effect.

Look at the below picture... it shows the gold foil accents in the designer series paper that comes in the Most Wonderful Time product medley.  You should check this medley out, the catalog does not do it justice!!!  For $70.00 you get just about everything you need to create a ton of projects.

Adorable Snowman

PicsArt_10-24-03.01.29

OMG!  Isn't he cute!  He is from the adorable Snowman Season Bundle and he is just the cutest thing.  Coordinating with the Let It Snow Embellishment kit just adds so much.  The kit has the epoxy carrot nose, coal buttons, stick arms, and the felt gloves and little snowballs.  Take a look at the whole card:

Standard card base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2

Sparkle Glimmer mat is 4 x 5-1/4... I punched out a hat with the Snowman builder punch to layer behind the hat and also the Snowman

Whisper white top layer is 3-3/4 x 5 masked off with a piece of plain computer paper torn in a way pattern.  I used my sponge and Coastal Cabana ink to sponge the snow hills.  I then lightly sponged the sky area and the edges of the paper.

To make the snowy hill stand out I Heat Embossed some of  the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.  Love that stuff!

TIP:  The Multipurpose Liquid Glue really works great at adhering the felt gloves!

Scrapbooking Christmas

PicsArt_11-14-11.15.08

Using the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, I made a scrapbook page.  I really like this one and guess I should have purchased more of the paper so I could make several layouts.  My goal is to buckle down and start getting my pictures off my phone.  How many of you have loads of pictures on your cell phone?  I am almost embarrassed to say that I have over 2,300 pictures on my phone.... Just pictures!  Ugh!

The red stripped background paper is a full 12 x 12 sheet from the Toile Tidings.

The green scenery layer is also from the Toile Tidings and is cut to 11 x 11"

Real Real mat measures 10" x 5-1/2"

Buffalo Check is from Toile Tidings DSP and is cut 9-1/2" x 5"

Words:  Garden Green card stock is 3-1/2" x 2-3/4"

Very Vanilla pieces is 3" x 2-1/2"  (I stamped my words in Mossy Meadow as I wanted them to stand out a little)

The Deer cut on Gold Foil is from the Detailed Deer Dies and the words from Merry Christmas to All.  Love the coordinating dies that go with this word set, which is where the "Merry Christmas" up top came from; Merry Christmas Dies.

So I forgot the Boxwood Wreaths are discontinued, but make sure to keep checking the Clearance rack as they may appear on there!
