MY LILY PAD CARD:

  • I stamped the detailed lily image stamps in Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
  • The filler stamps are inked up, stamped off on scrap paper, then stamped over the details
  • NOTE:  These are reversible stamps AND are made to NOT exactly line up.
  • Above step sure does play with my mind..... LOL!  I'm a matchy-matchy stamper :)
  • I cut the bottom of my Lotus flowers off (just my preference)
  • All Lotus flowers are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals to give them a lift
  • The Happy Birthday is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in the Mini catalog
  • Gorgeous Grape card stack 8-1/2 x 5-1/2"
  • Granny Apple Green card stack is 5-3/8 x 4-1/8"
  • Die cup the decorative strip die from the Granny Apple Green above
  • Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper is 4 x 5-1/4"

Poppies and Painted Labels Dies

Purple is my favorite color! I love that it is the focal point of the background with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.

This card is so versatile and you can change to any sentiment.  The Peaceful Moments stamp set has 10 word phrases and is available in a Bundle, as a Product Suite or individual sale.

For some other ideas, here is how you can change this card up to make your own:

Oh!  And that Black Circle.... the picture does not show it very well, but that has some embossing on it.  A nice decorative edge all the way around.  It is a punch out from the Peaceful Poppies Elements set and our 1-1/2 Circle Punch fits perfectly to center a phrase.

Card Base:  Basic Black (8-1/2 x 5-1/2" scored and folded in half)

Matting:     Old Olive cut 5-3/8 x 4-1/8".   I also use this same piece to die cut the scallop edge and swirly circle from the Painted Labels Dies

DSP:   My designer series papers are each cut at 2 x 5-1/4" (don't worry if your 2" cut is a little short, the scallop edge pieces and circle with hide any gaps)

Life is better... with Peaceful Poppies

Hello, Hello...

Well, as I announced here on my blog and on Faceboook (Stamp with Lisa Brown), the 2020 Mini catalog has gone live.  Did you take a peek yet?  There is so much exciting product to look at you will need more than a peek.

To help you navigate the catalog and product suites a bit, be sure to catch my Facebook Live video on January 8, 2020 at 8:30 pm.  I will explain the Peaceful Poppies Product Suite and demo some projects, including my Friendship card below:

The designer series paper is so colorful and vibrant... brings much needed color on these dreary winter days.  There is definitely something for everyone in the new product suite so I am excited to share.  From the Whisper White Crinkled Ribbon to the Painted Labels Dies (not shown).

Speaking of color, the coordinating colors for the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper is awesome!  They are Poppy Parade, Rich Razzelberry, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow and Berry Burst.  Phew!  That is a lot of colors.  But the good thing is, I bet you have at least one of those.

I am going to add to the list.... Granny Apple Green!  Just like in my card. I think it is a perfect match, don't you?

Do you see 2 (yes, two) different watercolor elements?  Make sure to catch my Facebook Live on January 8th to find out what they are!
